Hello

Michelle began formal dance training at the age of seven and continued dancing into college at the University of Purdue where she minored in dance. After taking a break to get married and start a family, she and her husband moved to Thief River Falls in 1983.

 

Michelle has lived in the community of Thief River Falls for over 40 years. During this time she has both performed and instructed. Michelle has taught with the Community Education Program as well with both private and public schools in the area. She has choreographed and taught dance for the Lincoln High School theatre department and choir. Michelle was also an instructor and curriculum developer for the local Magnet Arts Program. 

 

For the past 12 years Michelle has enjoyed coaching alongside her daughter, Maureen, at their local studio here in Thief River Falls. Dancing and sharing the joy of dance through a variety of forms has been Michelle's passion her whole life. She is looking forward to continuing and sharing that passion at her new studio, Movement Evolution.
